Home is more than a place—it is a landscape of memory, identity, and belonging. As we move through different places and cultures, our memories of home become fragments of emotion, imagination, and personal experience.

The "Remembering Home from Afar" AI Art Competition invites participants to use AI as a creative medium to explore their impressions of home. Whether through familiar landscapes, childhood memories, or imagined worlds, each work offers a unique reflection on where we come from and how we define home.

At the intersection of art and technology, we invite you to transform memory into image and create a visual dialogue about identity, culture, and belonging.

Competition

Art work submission and selection

Specifications of the artworks: A3 (297mm X 420mm) paper or other materials. If it is an oil painting, please remove the wooden frame.

Entry age: 5 to under 20 years old, including teenagers and children aged 20 years old (in 2026), regardless of nationality.

Type of artwork: Any form (including but not limited to ink painting, watercolor, oil painting, sketch, cartoon, crayon painting, board painting, comics, colored pencils, digital painting, comprehensive painting, etc.)

Title of work: labeling in Chinese or English is required. If the artwork is sent by an organization, please indicate the name of the organization.

Fee & Prize

1. There is no entry fee for this competition. Award winners will receive an official certificate issued by the Association. Participants may choose whether to purchase the shortlisted works catalogue. Any production costs for the catalogue will be borne by the individual.

2. Selected artworks will be exhibited in both Shanghai and Melbourne.

3. Award winners from China who choose to participate in the exhibition in Australia are responsible for all related expenses, including visa, accommodation, transportation, and exhibition fees.
